Wandering the desert of time with hardly a thing to drink. That's a line from an unfinished song of mine, the desert representing my current creative output. The ideas are fast and bulbous, but it's hard to get them past that stage. I don't normally feel the need to share my thoughts, but I'm compelled to bump the previous cobwebbed journal off my profile page. On the topic of journals, I wrote that one
about CafePress. Well, over 5 years later, I received a cheque for $100 (which the bank took a decent bite of). Perhaps it'd be mildly successful if I found the time to be active with designs.
I've been compiling my typed descriptions of notable dreams from the past 5 years. I'll post that sooner or later, but I keep having another memorable dream before I finish typing about the last one. On top of that, this week was insane...
Bad allergies seem to make very creative dreams. This week I've designed awesome but dangerous water amusement parks, wandered sleepily around my childhood home while things around me kept changing, been forced to get Hello Kitty tattoos on my arms, visited an almost infinitely strong stalk that can lift entire freight trains and hold a sky country miles up in the air, written a brilliant children's book and visualised the illustrations (if only I could remember it better), listened to CDs of bands that don't actually exist, won an augmented reality robot war game in a toy store, and helped my sister to breed some sort of biotech pets in the same store (the little guy's long pencil dick was raw and bleeding by the time he'd impregnated over 20 females).
It's easy to get sidetracked in this world. Whether listening to oodles of music or contemplating the physics of an overinflated basketball. So what are you up to?
